Good god, I used to suck at musical composition. It wasn't bad, I was experimenting and just making what I wanted.
Looking back, yeah, my FIRST THREE submissions used one similarity in composition - I had basically ripped off MSM's Thwok, specifically Track 1. I've moved on from it, now only doing that for remixes, or as inspiration for more unique or complex basslines.
I've also gotten much better at composition thanks to having FL Studio readily available. Without it, I'd not even get past 2023's music before giving up. This software helped me out a lot, and with such customizability in the instruments, drums, and effects, I've gotten stirred toward FL Studio and away from BandPass.
Honestly, I think this is just gonna get better from here, as I could buy a new computer with FL Studio PC, which is more powerful and better than the FL Studio Mobile that I use. Sure, I have a lot of instruments, but the PC version has way more, and I can do so much more with like 50 Organs and 2 Drumkits.
I've changed alot musically, and I feel I can get better than how I was back in May 2023. I have gotten better, and my first good piece is probably Electrodance. It's much better than my old "BoSs tHEmE" so please don't listen to anything made by me in BandPass. Please.
